I think Paul's worst moment as an artist after the Beatles would have to be his rock movie debacle Give My Regards To Broadstreet since he probably thought it was still the 60's in his mind & this was his sequel to A Hard Day's Night as well as having the worst Beatles covers ever by the former Beatle himself sadly.
I want you, I want you so bad babe. I want you, I want you so bad. It's driving me mad, it's driving me mad.
Wayne always slags on 'GMRTB', but he remembers the movie more so than the music. 'Worst' Beatle covers by any other Beatle? Did John and George ever cover and record Beatle tunes? If they did, its not coming to me right now. Anyways, I like the soundtrack ( a lot) and the movie was dumb, but its got some decent footage.
Pauls worst moment was the McCartney 2 album. Horrible.
How do I answer this? Let me count the ways ... Broadstreet Letting Linda play in his band Driving Rain, Off The Ground, Macca 2, At The Speed Of Sound, ... on and on (BUT there are some gems scattered here and there) His "books" - poetry (= lyrics, some of which had Lennon input!), paintings. His "classical" stuff. Yawn.
That's enough!
Paul's fans might get hot under the collar when he gets "bashed" in the media, and on web boards. But by golly, he has set himself up nicely for a walloping, hasn't he?

John and George in concerts. John's one-to-one concert, and Toronto.
George: many occasions: Japan, 1974 North American tour, Prince's Trust.
But as a re-work in the studio, which is prob what you mean, no. Only NOT GUILTY is close, but that hadn't been released at the time George re-worked it for his 1979 album.

Yeah, I realize the live stuff, but I was talking studio.
I really love 'Not Guilty' for some reason, but I totally prefer the Beatles rendition of this song to George's studio remake. Too much gloss for me.
Much rather hear Linda than Yoko (the slant eyed satan) screaming on stage.

Come on Ydoll. Lets take 'Off The Ground' (love that entire album) and 'At The Speed Of Sound' off that list and enter 'Pipes Of Peace' and 'Press To Play'. (I know i'm setting myself up for a Paul bashing, but it had to be done.)
**I thought half of 'Driving Rain' was fantastic and the other half was blah. If only there was a happy medium**
I love the whole "Off the Ground" album. 'Pipes of Peace' I could probably do without, but I'd rather have it than not. I love 'Stranglehold' off of "Press to Play". The only thing I really can't get into is the 'Liverpool Sound Collage'.
Jeepers i'm tuned,,,I spelled 'peace' as 'piece' in my oroginal post. Had to change it (thanks Jr), but i agree with what you posted. I love 'stranglehold' too (actually I like a lot of that album), but would have to sub this one for 'SOS' as I like that album better.
