I'm pretty sure that these are from the Tony Sheridan sessions, but sometimes it sounds like John or Paul are singing... Can somebody tells me if its one of the Beatles or Tony singing these songs?:
My Bonnie The Saints Cry For A Shadow Why (Can't You Love Me Again) Nobody's Child Ain't She Sweet
My Bonnie - Tony Sheridan The Saints - Tony Sheridan Cry For A Shadow - nobody, its an instrumental (a lennon/harrison composition) Why (Can't You Love Me Again) - Tony Sheridan Nobody's Child - Tony Sheridan Ain't She Sweet - John Lennon
Whoops, I didn't mean to put Cry For A Shadow It was just in my playlist with those other songs...
Ah... I figured John did Ain't She Sweet, cause who else could get that sound? And I was almost sure that Paul did My Bonnie... Listen to that voice... It sounds amazingly like Paul's...
I love Ain't She Sweet ... Just John's voice, it's ripping, he gies me the shivers whenever I hear that song! I wish they had recorded more of their own material in Hamburg, it would have been so awesome to see them back then.
With all the 'new' and improved Tony Sheridan/Beat Brothers CDs that have come out in the last couple of years, which sounds the best? I suppose its time to add one to my collection and would appreciate suggestions. I'm assuming sound quality differs or maybe not. Let me know. Thanks, -JF-
