hmmm... would you like to tell the forum what Mom (/Mum?) said yesterday about I'm Looking Through You?

With pleasure. We were listening to I'm Looking Through You And our mom heard "I wanna screw you" to what i added "where did you go?"

So u see, we have a nice little humble family!

Not an actual beatles composition but when I listened to Paul singing it I had 'Long Tall Sally' wrong for ages

ACTUAL: 'Gonna tell Aunt Mary 'bout Uncle John'

I HEARD: 'I'm gonna tell aunt Mable; Bald Uncle John'

Oh and in 'Yer Blues', I didnt know what the heck the lyric 'the worm he licks my bone' was until recently!

But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...

I reckon he changed the lyrics and sang about baldness instead haha maybe it concerned him? He's actually not very bald at his present age from what I've seen! good for him

In  me Mucho (haha) we (Octie and I) heard instead of "this joy is something new...", we heard "this joyous song think you my arms enfolding you..."

Ooh, I just remembered another thing that I misheard:
In When I'm 64, I heard "we shall scream and say" instead of "scrape and save"... I thought that was quite weird... why should a nice elderly couple be screaming...?
Wah... I do mishear a lot, don't I?

I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^

This is embarrassing, but for years I thought that in "Get Back" Paul was saying "left his home into south Arizona", instead of "Tuscon, Arizona"

"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination"-JL

"It's fear of the unknown. The unknown is what it is. And to be frightened of it is what sends everybody scurrying around chasing dreams, illusions, wars, peace, love, hate, all that--it's all illusion. Unknown is what it is. Accept that it's unknown and it's plain sailing. Everything is unknown--then you're ahead of the game. That's what it is. Right?”-JL

ACTUAL: "Yes you can penetrate any place you go"
I HEARD: "Yes you can penetrate any place SHE go"

And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make
