Sandra, you're very, very pretty. And I agree with you on the makeup thing. When I was young, I wouldn't be dead leaving the house without makeup. Now............eh...........I don't really wear makeup. And if I do, it's very, very little....like a bronzing powder. I just love the natural "glow" look. Me and the hubby, from the 4th of July this year. And no makeup............... And besides.............if I wear too much makeup now, I feel I look like a "drag-queen"..............
You have great skin! It glows! No need for make up. Lucky! I'll go with mascara and lip gloss mainly. Sometimes a little blush because otherwise I'm as white as a ghost! You don't know how many times I've had to explain to people that not ALL Italians are dark skinned. Weird. But hardly anyone where I work wears that much make up. Teachers, you know. When I'm around my family though, forget it. They'd think I was insane to go without. I think that's an East Coast thing.
I think everyone here is beautiful. Inside and out. I've never been so attached to a place!
And yes not all Italians have dark skin. Northern Italians can have blond hair and blue eyes. I think that in the media and movies, they show Sicilians the most (mafia refernces mostly) and they are known for their darker complexions. I am half Sicilian but also half irish. I got the irish skin.

As for makeup, I think it's good to enhance your features, but some people just look better without it. I started wearing foundation a few months ago. I didn't need it before, but now I wouldn't dream of leaving the house without it! ha ha!

I've been compared to Rowan Atkinson (gee, thanks ) and Dave Grohl by several people... (in case you can't see the resemblance, I gained some weight since)... But that's the first time anyone ever compared me to Tim Curry... I like how, despite the fact that I don't have a beard, I apparently look like Tim Curry when he had that beard.
