The Doors, I love some of their songs but they tend to get on my nerves after a while...I wouldn't even come close to saying that about the rest.

I'd say Led Zeppelin. Just because they're often looked upon as rock gods! But really, all of those band are amazing. We should only be so lucky to have bands creating the kind of music they did in their prime. And the Who is the most UNDERRATED band ever. They get credit for NOTHING!

I agree 500% with sandra!!! and saying the Stones is overrated is only because youve only heard thier big hits,,, and saying The Who is overrated-read Sandras post

None of those bands are overrated. Creedence Clearwater Revival should have been on there. WAY overrated. Aerosmith needs to go away, and as for more contemporary, the Red Hot Chili Peppers don't have a shred of talent.

CCR isnt overrated.  They rule.  John Fogerty's voice is incredible.  Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Fortunate Son and Up Around the Bend are all great songs (they have tons more).  I'd say theyre underrated if anything, as they arent usually mentioned with most other famous 60s bands.

I can agree with you there. =o; I couldn't really say, but whatever.

I kinda like the Stones [my mom's got this early 'big hits' record, like that a lot], but they're somewhat overrated. They started out doing everything the Beatles did, after the Beatles did it. XD; Out of that list, anyhow. They're not a talentless band, they don't suck, but I don't think they need all this "GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD!" thing. =P I'm not trying to knock the Stones -- it's out of that list, there.

The Who totally need more credit. It's like, The Beatles [unless you go to my school, then you're instilled with this 'The Beatles suck' mentality, man. --;], The Rolling Stones, and The Doors . . . where are the Who? Being underrated, man.


Things they do look awful c-c-cold... yeah, I hope I die before I get old.
