yeah true, but many beginner guitar players only read tabs, which IMO is a waste of time... real sheet music is much easier...

Tab isn't only for beginners. I read both sheet music and tab and find tab a lot easier. Why would you consider it a waste of time?

I was pretty musch talking in my point of vue... tabs are good to start with, but then when you learn more you go up another level, not only staying at one place, especially if you want to do something in music, like university, pro or whatever...not wasting your time on that when you can learn sheet music afterwards, but if you play just for fun tabs are well enough...
