In one other forum, some members decided to start a karaoke contest. I thought that was a great idea. However, unfortunately, the idea failed, since noone seemed to want to share their voice online.

I had to be the first. I sang a... reasonable... version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. But that was it. Noone else wanted to join.

So, I decided to try it in here, to see if there is more interest...

And here goes nothing.

Care to join in?

The rules are simple:

. You must send in at least a 60 second file of you singing along to the song. If the song is shorter than that, then you must send a file with the entire song being sung by you.

. You can send any kind of sound file

. The score will be given by some judges, a score that goes from 1 to 10, being 1 the worst score and 10 the best one

I actually thought this could be fun...

Yes, I'm afraid you do need a microphone. After that, you can just record using the Windows Sound Recorder along with the song.

Or you can download a Karaoke program off the Internet, if you want to.

im game, oh, and if anyone is wondering, you can record more than 1 minute of sound on the sound recorder by pressing stop than record.
