hey alan in october of 63 a documentary on the mersey side music phenom was aired in your lovely country.it featured the beatles and the undertakers mostly.i have this on a disc and i would like to see if you agree that this was the one most enjoyable shows to have viewed as it was before lightning struck so to speak and worldwide was only over the horizon.it was when the beatles were mersey property.the way they spoke was honest and direct, tom foolery was there but they were there as documentists of music and it seemed they were more serious than candid. i also enjoyed seeing billy harry and the others that helped shape that era therea..... so alan give us the run down....

Is that the one where John says, "you can be big-headed and say you're gonna last 6 years, but you'll be lucky to last 6 months!" or something like that?

Yeah, I think the BBC were keen to get a 'serious' interview with them so we see John and Paul looking to the future, obviously thinking it's not going to last, and wanting to develop their songwriting 'a bit more'! This is also where we see Ringo living out his dream of owning a ladies hairdressing salon!!!! Great stuff!

LOL! Of course... How's the DM's Forum Song doing by the way...
Ha ha!
I was thinking about this the other day - I think we only got as far as drums and bass (and possible rhythm?) and we were waiting for someone to do some more guitar work. I still have the track on my desktop so it's there if anyone wants to contribute!

Any news on this? Maybe Alan gets some inspiration on his holidays?
