It looks like they synchronized Rosemary's Baby with The Wizard of Oz. This is probably one reason The Beatles decided to use Rosemary's Baby as a synchronization film for their albums, at least as early on as The White Album. The Beatles synchronized albums with The Wizard of Oz all through their career (Please Please Me, Beatles For Sale, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Abbey Road confirmed so far). Of course Rosemary's Baby was synchronized with The Beatles entire record album catalog, probably because The Beatles used The Wizard of Oz for their albums. I'd be almost willing to bet that the three Wizard of Oz start points the Beatles used were used in creating Rosemary's Baby.
Pink Floyd also used both movies for The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, and indications that the movies were synchronized stem from The Dark Side of the Moon synchronization, where the song entitled Money begins as a dream begins in both movies, dreams which begin immediately after injurious encounters with windows.
The Cure also used both movies, plus Excalibur, for their album entitled Pornography, which leads me to believe that The Beatles and Pink Floyd may have used at least one other movie as synchronization material for the creation of their record albums.
If I'm wrong, then why does the song entitled Dust In The Wind start up exactly on cue when the Point of No Return CD by Kansas is played in synchronization with Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas (start point is the helecopter appearing about 32 seconds into the film)? The song starts just as Gonzo is first seen wearing his dust mask and covering his beer to protect it from all of the dust which has engulfed the motorcycle race. You see, I'm not just discussing the musical beat synchronizing with movement, or odd, vague coincidence. Any studio recording does that with a movie synchronized with studio recordings. It helps to remember that I have looked into the issue and have some idea of what I am talking about. It is quite clear that movies are synched with music, but which specific music and why? People like to watch dance and pay good money for it without realizing it. You have to look for the plainly purposeful element.

It works because you've found an album with its first song about dust and a movie whose opening scene has dust in it. I have to confess I admire your strength of conviction. and your calmness.
yeah he is.they hope to recapture him soon tho...lol just kidding hey guys lighten up...not you mikey jackson.ypu too light already....i'm rick james beeyotch!!!!
Actually, Dust In The Wind is the seventh song on Kansas' Point of Know Return album, and the movie is too exact in cueing on this song for it to be coincidence. There are far too many of these "coincidences" for them to be accidental.
The Beatles also used The Haunting as a synchronization movie. And, Cream, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Blue Oyster Cult, The Eagles, AC/DC, The Cure, and Judas Priest synchronized many of their albums with The Wizard of Oz.
