In honor of Paul's birthday, I'd like to share a video clip that I found a few days ago. It's a really cute and unique clip of Paul demonstrating how to cook mashed potatoes! http://scils.rutgers.edu/~erminio/beatles/video/potatoes.zipThe clip is about 10 minutes long and is in .WMV format. It's from a December 1998 webcast special called "Wide Prairie." I'm don't have the exact info about the program, but it features Paul talking about Linda's music, photography, and other projects. The mashed potato recipe is from one of Linda's cookbooks. It's obvious that Paul's not a master chef - his knife skills are a bit scary! (I was cringing the whole time he was hacking at that onion.) But the clip is really fun and it's just so adorable. He seemed to have a lot of fun filming it, too. I hope you enjoy it |
