Here's an interesting article.

http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/mccartneys%20fear%20for%20beatrice

I don't know if she's being overprotective or paranoid. But, I found one thing wrong with her statement: Harrison didn't die of stab wounds.

What do you people think?

you said all wrong

She said:"Lennon, who was shot dead by a crazed fan in New York in 1980, and Harrison, who was attacked at his home in England in 1999."

"Remember John Lennon was shot and George Harrison was stabbed.""

and this is true.

It seemed that the context suggested George died of stab wounds. It amazes me how some reporters don't really realize how people might read the context of their statements.

That's how I read it, anyway.

stabbed not died of stabbed wound

HEATHER MILLS McCARTNEY fiercely guards her baby with her husband and former BEATLE SIR PAUL McCARTNEY, because she's terrified she will suffer the same fate as his late bandmates JOHN LENNON and GEORGE HARRISON.

The former model is determined to protect 20-month-old BEATRICE from the fates suffered by Lennon, who was shot dead by a crazed fan in New York in 1980, and Harrison, who was attacked at his home in England in 1999.

She says, "I don't like talking about Beatrice much in case she gets put into the spotlight.

"Remember John Lennon was shot and George Harrison was stabbed."

Where stand there died stabbed???

This write a english reporter not heather himself

I read it as Heather said Harrisong was stabbed to death. I'm not saying he wasn't stabbed, but she put she should have clarified. People may read it differently.

Anyway, what do you think of her statement overall?

I agree Mairi. I do understand being protective of your child, but there is a fine line between protecting your child and being overprotective. I think Heather has crossed that line, but that's my opinion. And I thought they had a nanny.

I don't think she would say that if she was married to Sting or some other famous singer. I said I didn't know if she was being overprotective.

And murder wasn't FORCED on John. Harrison WASN'T murdered.

There's a good story in Tony Sanchez "Up and Down with the Rolling Stones" about "Spanish Tony"'s getting pissed off at Linda (just dating Paul at the time) for calling early in the morning and wanting to get back an acetate (test pressing) of the "Hey Jude/Revolution" single that Paul had brought into the Vesuvius Club the night before.

Apparently she was afraid that Sanchez or someone else would bootleg the thing.

Maybe she was being overprotective too.  But sensible too.  I give Paul credit  for appreciating that when his rock-star peers were chasing heroin-addicted model/actresses.

Do you have any clue what it must be like to have those things happen to your brothers? Friar Park was an absolute fortress and some nut still got in. Someone was able to swing into window of Yoko's Co-op at the Dakota while she was there sleeping and stole some things a few years back. There's alot of nuts out there, and who knows how many threats Paul gets? Either you are naive as hell or totally clueless.
