I totally understand Heather wanting to protect Beatrice. And I don't think its all about protecting her either, its about giving her the chance to have a private childhood.

I don't understand this either, it seems everything Heather says or does is criticised on this board.

There's a good story in Tony Sanchez "Up and Down with the Rolling Stones" about "Spanish Tony"'s getting pissed off at Linda (just dating Paul at the time) for calling early in the morning and wanting to get back an acetate (test pressing) of the "Hey Jude/Revolution" single that Paul had brought into the Vesuvius Club the night before.

Apparently she was afraid that Sanchez or someone else would bootleg the thing.

Maybe she was being overprotective too.  But sensible too.  I give Paul credit  for appreciating that when his rock-star peers were chasing heroin-addicted model/actresses.

That book might be the best Rock and Roll book ever. Yeah, Linda called Tony the next morning because they accidentally left an acetate of 'Hey Jude/Revolution' and went nuts on him and then Paul smoothed it over. How can you be overprotective when everyone on the planet knows you?

I know. I say give her a chance, but then you have nutjobs that misinterpret/condemn everything.

I've been reading back thru Spanish Tony over the last month or so.  I wonder what he's up to these days.

What a ride that guy went on, huh? I'd love to know what happened to him as well. The book ends when he checks in to rehab in '76 I think and that's almost 30 years ago. That's why you gotta love Keef, he's a human cockroach and never lost his licks. I think if you look under 'Rock & Roll' in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Keith Richards. If anyone wants to read a great book its "Up And Down With The Rolling Stones" by Tony Sanchez. Sorry I'm totally off topic.
