While The Beatles were playing in The Netherlands, june 1964, they were surreptitously recorded. A guy who worked at the sound company, producing the stage and everything for the Beatles gig in Blokker, taped the concert. A collegue of mine actually knows this man and told me he talked about it now and then. I wonder if I could get to talk to him and try to get this recording on a cd. Can anybody tell me if this is worth trying? I know there are a lot of (bootleg) recordings from concerts, don't really know if this is adding something.

Oh yes - PLEASE do try! I imagine the sound quality would be very good if it was recorded by a sound technician. This would obviously feature Jimmy Nichol on drums as ringo was hospitalised during the early stages of that tour.

I think the concert was recorded on a simple machine tho. What would such a tape be worth (yes we're Dutch after all)? Or: what should I pay for such a thing?
