So?

Me, I listen to "1" with my friends a lot so they get into the Beatles. I also listen to Hard Day's Night, and George's "Cloud Nine", may not be a Beatles album but I listen to it every day.

Same here, junior. Usually I'd be listening to Revolver, but it's been broken for awhile and haven't managed to get a new one yet. The damage isn't too bad, but it always screws up on Taxman and I Want to Tell You.

Believe it or not, I haven't listened to any Beatles for a couple of months. I know, hit me in the head. I usually take a break from them so not to get burned out. To me, they're just too special, so I pretty much just spread it out. Sometimes I'll just go on a week or two binge and play everything. Yes, I'm a binger. I admit it! Revolver is pretty much the most commonly played album for me. Right now as we speak, I'm listening to Weather Report's Tale Spinning album. Sorry.

Anthology Albums, its interesting hearing different takes of our favorite beatles songs.

I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves, and I hope we pass the audition.

I haven't been listening to much Beatles lately. I've been preoccupied with Joan Baez, my bizarre mixes, and believe it or not, Lesley Gore.

But MMT has been spinned a couple of times this week.

Did you see her perform for the people that have been camped out at Bush's place? Pretty good. She's got a great voice.

Yeah, it was awesome. I love her voice. I think she is the female singer whose voice is the most like mine, in terms of key.

Of course, mine is not as amazingly fantastical as hers, but that's a MINOR detail...

In my opinion, the thing is that Beatles For Sale has a great difference between the covers and the Lennon-McCartney songs. I think the covers are mostly weak: Honey Don't, Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby, Words Of Love, Mr Moonlight, Rock & Roll Music. The Lennon-McCartney compositions on the other hand are magnificent: Spoil The Party, No Reply, I'm A Loser. Great stuff.

Its wierd that as late as '66, when they were dropping acid and recording Tommorrow N K that they were going on stage and performing songs like Twist and Shout and RockIn' Roll Music  and Roll Over Beethoven. How old were those songs by then, 10 years old? And in a style that was pretty naff by '66.
