I found out yesterday that I have an usual copy of Abbey Road. Her Majesty isn't mentioned on the cover (but that was normal, I think), it isn't mentioned on the label (likewise) but it isn't on the album either! It's a vinyl record, no cd. Is there anybody who can give me some details on this. Very strange (I kept waiting, it really wasn't there. Not even in the inner groove).

It's obviously worthless. Send it to me if you like and I'll get you a nice new one with ALL the songs on it. (I've always been a giving kind of guy.)

Thanks man. But the thing is, I don't really care for the song itself! In fact, I like it the way it is now! Lol. Tell you what: send me yours and I'll cut Her Majesty off for you.

I hate Her Majesty because it ruins the ending of AR for me. You got lucky, man.

You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.

I must be sad & the only person in Australia who actually likes "Her Majesty". For a 14 second or whatever song, it's pretty good. One of my all time Beatles favourites along with "Why Don't We Do It In The Road" & "Cry For A Shadow" but I can't stand those Harrison composed tracks on Revolver (you know, the Indian sounding ones).

I'm so used to hearing it, it just belongs there. And it was their intent anyway. The cymbal crash at the beginning is the end of 'Polythene Pam'.

Do you know the country of manufacture? That's usually very important when determining value.

As a side note, I have a French copy of AR that fades in the opening cymbals of Come Together and thus misses off a bit of the beginning!

I'll check that out later. I'm at the office right now. Noticed yesterday by the way that I Want You is fading out just a bit at the end, instead of going to a climax and a sudden stop. I'll come back on this one, will check for other 'faults' as well.

The label says 'Made in Holland'. Nr 1A 062-04243. There isn't much more information.
