While The Beatles of course upstaged everybody else in their films, they did have some pretty good supporting players there with them. My vote goes to Wilfrid Brambell with Leo McKern a close 2nd.
Its a tie between Paul's Grandfather (Brambell) and the Fast-Talking Sergeant (Spinetti). There are a million books out about every single possible thing Beatle-related, but there should be one on their co-stars. For example, whatever happened to little Nicola from Magical Mystery Tour? Serial killer or working for the Peace Corps, maybe driving a bus. It would be interesting to get their feedback about those times or just whatever happened to...Hell, there's a book by everyone that's ever peed next to John Lennon, so why not this?

I picked Victor Spinetti because he was great as the director in AHDN as well as the mad scientist in Help while the old man who played Paul's grandfather is kind of creepy.

He was also in Magical Mystery Tour, but strictly speaking that's not movie.
