Eleanor Rigby and Taxman. Eleanor Rigby is such a great piece of mood on tape, reminiscent of how blues rocker Chuck Berry would paint a story using words and it amazes me how consistently all of the blues remakes The Beatles did came out better than the original, particularly Taxman, one of the best political rock songs of all time!

This crippling of individuals I consider the worst evil of Capitalism.

FOR NO ONE!!!!!!! I'm obsessed with it at the moment. A close second would be I'm Only Sleeping. WHY did they take that off of the American release?? Stupid people. BTW, doesn't Paul do For No One in Broadstreet? Or am I remembering wrong? It's just making me think of that movie for some reason. But I haven't seen it in YEARS so I don't know.

Yes, paul did do a version on 'Broadstreet'. I still like that album regardless of what people say.

I think a lot of people see that as one of, if not the weakest track on the album.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

Tastes differ. Thank God.
And your English is far better than our Icelandish. And better than the English of some English people here.
