The U.S. (we're sorry!) not only came up with the cheesiest versions of the albums themselves but some pretty idiotic covers on them with no imagination at all. I skipped A Hard Days Night 'cause it wasn't a complete album and Help! was pretty close to the original. I go with Beatles '65. They look ridiculous!
I thought the "Butcher Cover" was more bizzare than anything else, and I kinda like it If for nothing else the shock value. So I vote for "Something New" as it was shot far off and blurry.....blah! I hate that one, but "The Early Beatles" runs a close second.

I agree. Granted, it IS a bad cover. I just think it's funny they would try and pull off a stunt like that. The look on George's face kills me every time.
The 'Trunk' cover. Paul looks green, like he's seasick and about ready to yip his guts out. I could never figure what George is wearing, it looks like a stuffed sweater under his shirt. I don't even think it was the correct image, I don't remember John with his hair parted on the right. Maybe it was deliberate, maybe they wanted to put as bland of a cover on after the Butcher controversy. They were so photogenic and they all look sick.
why was introducing the beatles not entered??????it blows far harder,,,,,
I was thinking of the Vee Jays, but there were 3 or 4 different versions and covers of the same album and I thought that would get a bit redundant. So I stuck with the Capitols. Out of the Vee Jays, I would say The Beatles vs The Four Seasons was the most pathetic.
i would say my favorite cover is the savage young beatles cover....and not just because i am a pete best fan but because face it they looked cool in leather.....
