Rolling Stones back with a Bang  

There are 16 songs on the Rolling Stones' forthcoming album
The Rolling Stones are to release A Bigger Bang, their first studio album in eight years, on 5 September.
According to a statement released by the group, its title reflects "their fascination with the scientific theory about the origin of the universe".

Produced by Don Was of Was (Not Was) fame, the album follows the launch of their world tour at Boston's Fenway Park baseball stadium on 21 August.

Their previous studio album, Bridges to Babylon, was released in 1997.

Described as "an ambitious collection of hard-hitting, high-powered rock and blues songs", A Bigger Bang has 16 tracks in all - making it the Stones' longest album since 1972's Exile on Main Street.

Two of the songs - This Place is Empty and Infamy - feature Keith Richards on lead vocals.

Other titles include It Won't Take Long, Rain Fall Down and Streets of Love, the first single to be released from the album.

The Stones' world tour includes 35 dates in the US and Canada, moving on to South America, the Far East and finally Europe before summer 2006.

I think they should of stopped making music in 1983 but maybe we'll see some good tracks out of this album.

alright well I bought the album but I'm trouble getting it up onto the computer to put on my ipod. I've managed to get every track except the last one does anyone else have this problem?

I've been listening to it a lot lately and I absolutely love it. My wife is struggling a little bit with it, but she'll turn eventually.

If you dont have it yet, do yourself a favor and get it. Its fantastic.

I couldn't believe how good it was either, especially the first 10 songs.
