Paul's going to be on the Pete and Geoff show tomorrow 7.30am. Should be good - P&G are two funny guys who know their sh*t.
Have to say - heard the new single today and was disapointed - its ok, but nothing special. But then again, I still expect singles to be maesterworks, when these days they're really just promos for albums. The other album tracks I've heard were better.

Yo Kevin_b! Check out Bobbers link!!!...Just checking out the album right now! I'm liking it. Got a better feeling with this than I did with Flaming Pie.

Paul keeps on telling everybody that this is a very good album, that he really made it with heart and soul and all that. Somehow he is trying to convince us of the quality of this album instead of letting it speak for itself. It's making me a bit suspicious, or am I paranoid?

Isn't he just doing a promo like all artists. I heard The Stones doing the same. It's the same as actors hawking their latest movie - part of the trade I'm afraid

He's certainly giving this one a push....Hopefully it means a lot to him and that's why he's willing to represent it more. I have listened through the album once (bar last track) as we speak.

It's got the moments I've been waiting for. 'This Never Happened' Before feels nostalgia nice.

It really has some sincere, quality Macca vocals. The cheese has been shaved off by Godrich with great conscientious production I would say. Nice glory build-ups on the last track with mournful strings radiating the sound of Abbey Rd.

Woops!....One more ........'Anyway.' Not sure about this track after 'This never Happened Before.'.....Evolves into a great soundscape, Godrich showing off his Radiohead skills.......

I need to listen through again but I'm well happy with this offering. Thanks agin Bobber for the early pre-view. It's definitely sold me a legitamate copy from the shops when it comes out..

I just realised he's pinched the chords from '1,2,3,4,5,6,7 All good Children go to heaven.' from Abbey Rd. for the outro of 'Follow Me.' ....Nice touch.

The show was quite good. He played a couple of tracks live. He did an agony aunt bit, answering kids problems ("get rid of your parents" was his standard response.)
They made him play a couple of instruments just to prove he could - one was a wind instrument (can't remember) and that electronic wavey thingy you hear on Good Vibrations
He did a quick Q&A - he likes texting, has a big fridge, doesn't have automatic curtains, prefers white toilet paper.
Show finished with a very rousing live "Yellow Submarine", complete with gazoo accompliment.
He seemed very genial, relaxed, always joking and called his new album "Chaos and confusion" by mistake. I supect that Heather's not having all the influence on him that she thinks.
Ps he's back Sunday, and the bit they previewd he was talking Beatle stuff.
