It's one of the Beatles books I've gotten over the years... I was wondering if anyone else has heard of it. I mean, it's stuff that every Beatle fan should know, but it's still a fairly decent bio.

I always thought it was a great book. Well researched by Philip Norman, but it is decidedly, and admittedly, biased towards John. |

Ah, you should finish it, it's hard to not like it if you never finish it!  A lot of what I read is geared more towards John.. mainly because he and Paul were the founders, so I think most of the credit goes to them. |

I remember when the book came out!
He (Norman) was on a talk show proudly announcing that he researched and found out the exact date John met Paul but it wasn't right, was it?!
I've heard he disliked Paul. |

I'm not sure... Yeah, I had my moments of Paul dislikement, but if I were to write a book about the Beatles, I'd treat him fairly. |
