This is awsome! I got tickets to his first show in Miami. I'm so excited! Its 12 Am as I'm writing this post so that means its today. If anyone has ever been to his past concerts can you tell me what I can expect? And...who else got tickets for this tour?

I went to see him in England.
The show is amazing.
Mccartney does the full 3 hours or whatever - doing a few numbers by himself on the old acoustic. His support band are amazing, with the Beatle-esq harmonies.
Don't know if he has changed the format, but when he first comes out...he is behind a huge screen..which shows him as a black shadow - holding up the violin...symbolic

Whats the matter lads? Blue Meanies?

You can expect a few traditional things that he does,,,,,,

Cannons go off during 'Live And Let Die'

Very agressive light show during 'Live And Let Die'

Paul acting surprised and exhausted on the piano after 'Live And Let Die'

Paul telling everybody to sing during 'Hey Jude' (everybody on the right,,,,blah, blah, blah. I'm tired of this, but I suppose its alright if its your first go round)

Paul forgetting the words to the beginning of a song on purpose

The band usually ends with 'the End' as Paul and the band trade lead guitar licks

a dedication to John, George, and Linda

,,,theres probably more, but i'm tired

You guys are lucky. When will Paul learn that he has Canadian fans outside of Toronto and Montreal?

last night concert in Tampawas FANTASTIC. I won't post the setlist because I know some of you are going to see him in this tour.
The show even had a blooper on it... after he finished a song Macca was holding his bass up and behind there was this big hole in the stage where his piano was raising for the next number, as he was waving the crowd he was walking backwards and fell into the hole!! Fortunately he was ok. It was funny because he kept joking about the incident throughout the whole concert

I can't wait!! He's not here until November. The same month The Rolling Stones are here. I'm psyched. BTW, why the hell didn't one of the band members or roadies stop Paul from falling in the hole!! They better be watching his back a little better from now on or there's gonna be hell to pay if anything happens to that man!

Worse than that, some guy rushed the stage and grabbed at him. WTF kind of security is that?

Does anyone know if there's also a European tour planned already?

Last time I didn't get a chance to go to one of his shows, and I'll never forgive myself if I'll never see him live before he retires or dies or something...

Okay, now that's ridiculous!! He needs to fire these incompetents!! I've never heard of such a thing. Well, maybe the whole Hell's Angels fiasco, but haven't they learned to hire people that have more than half a brain since then??

Found this:

PAUL McCartney was hurt after tumbling 5ft down an open trapdoor during a sell-out concert. The ex-Beatle, 63, was walking across the stage when he mis-stepped and fell through the opening from which a grand piano was about to appear.
Macca banged his elbow and back as he fell on top of the piano. He was helped to his feet by stage crew at the St Pete Times Forum, Tampa, Florida.
When he performed he told the 18,000 crowd: "There's a big hole in the stage and I just fell into it. A word to the stage crew, I want a big fence around here tomorrow.
"Think we ought to put a picket fence around it? A little picket fence! It will look nice." McCartney soldiered on through the 35-song two and a half hour set on Saturday but appeared to be in pain at times.

I don't know if you've ever seen the video of Simon & Garfunkel in Central Park from 1981, but Paul Simon is singing "Late Great Johnny Ace" and just as he gets done singing the line 'when a stranger came up and asked me if I'd heard John Lennon had died', some nut runs up to him yelling, and security grabbed him and carried him off. That kind of mess is scary and given all of Macca's security, its unbelievable.

I saw the show in Miami and I have to say I had the best time ever. I was not dissapointed. He even played I've got a feeling which is my favorite song ever. I was in complete utter shock when he started to play it. I was almost 100% sure he wouldn't play it....but he did and it was great. The whole thing is an experience that I will never forget.

Awesome. I LOVE that song. I cannot wait for this show. But who did John's part? Or did he cut that part from the song?

His guitarist did John's part(The one with the brown hair). I think he did a great job on John's part.  Trust me you'll love the song. He may not sing it like he use to in 1969 but its still great and its still I've got a feeling live!! So you'll love it.

That's one of Paul's coolest vocals! He sang with that deep voice on songs like Madonna too.

Yeah the vocals on that song are the best. Not only does he have a deep voice but he shouts with a rock and roll voice. Its an awsome song to sing along. Its my favorite and has my favorite vocals on it.

Wha? Wha? I get it. You know, he goes into that deep register at the beginning. Sort of a similiar sound to the thing he does in Lady Maddona. But not. I don't know. Now I'll have to play both to see if I know what I'm talking about.

I thought he was talking about Madonna, not 'Lady Madonna'. Good Lord. A thousand apologies, but with the way some people write on this forum, you never know.
