Does anyone have any original 1965 reviews of Rubber Soul, or know where some can be found? I'm especially interested to hear what critics thought about the sitar on Norwegian Wood. My impression is that they liked it, but I can't find any quotes to back it up.

Have you got the NME Originals edition? it's using all the official NME cuttings.
Also the Mojo Specials have a Special Album section, which shows what the press etc had to say.
Try and check them out.

I think people will have fun with it, I really love seeing how people reacted to the music as it hit, rather than from the perspective of classic albums and mythical legends.
