I always liked the song "nowhere man" becouse I'ts talking about my favorite beatel - john.
I have always wonderd what if he was really existe - what will he be like. so... I made by myself an image of him. I creat "nowhere man" by using the qualitys that has giving to him in the song.
you can see the result in a new web site I have maid jest for him...
Hi matan... sorry, the nowhereman. Incredible site, congratulations. Your "man" seems to me as if Derek Taylor (geting high, of course ) and Neil Aspinall were in the same body. A great image.
The nowhereman, welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy them. Theres a lot of people here... and a couple of meanies too, but dont worrie, they dont bite.
Welcome to the site, Matan (To use your actual name respectfully).
Have you seen the cartoon Yellow Submarine?. The Nowhere Man is in that too. I think John was trying to say in the song Nowhere Man that we are all like that in some ways, in life, sometimes. Hence the lines in the song 'Doesn't have a point of view, knows what where he's going to, isn't he a bit like me and you?'. I don't think John is referring to himself as such.
I have to agree about the presence of Blue Meanies in this site. I'm convinced that all they need is love!
Of course I saw "yellow submarine", It's one of my favorite "beatles" movie (this one and "a hard days night" too). but in "yellow submarine" the "nowhere man" is not so human and he dosent look "a beat like you and me". my character is a normal man (with a big nose) and all the "humans" can identify with him (or not). john said abut this song - "i was just sitting, trying to think of a song, and i thought of myself sitting there doing nothing and getting nowhere. then i thought of myself an "nowhere man" - sitting in his nowhere land". well... he thought about himsef... my "nowhere man" as a lot of qualitys john has (the big nose is not one of them)... so far i love this forum !!! you are very nice !!! "Blue Meanies"? o.k, I gess "all they need is a song". love matan k
Yes, the 'nose' thing which was discussed in this forum recently. I didn't get involved in the debate about Ringo's nose. But, when I saw our very own nowhere man, the nose thing and Ringo just reminded me of your character. But I think Ringo is definitely a somewhere man. Unlike John Lennon's opinion, I think Ringo was the best drummer in the Beatles!
Since this seems to be the 'fun' thread, I'd just like to ask; can anybody do Beatles voice impressions at all? I can do John and Ringo reasonably well, including singing Maggie Mae. I find Paul impossible to do, and I tried George but failed.
