Cheers amigo, glad the gig was a good un. A lubricated audience always helps or did you mean the tune tequila.
Gotta keep growing. I like to treat cover gigs as paid rehearsals, a study into the art of popular song. Using a golden thread I hope my own voice comes out of the diversity and not unlike Macca, can turn my range to a few tricks. That in turn should hopefully compliment this original music album a few friends and I have been trying to complete and helps finance them endeavours. I get to gig on many different levels which I love and which is why I got to keep it fresh and enjoyable. I still manage to get to play what I like to play and make an existence, which I'm grateful for.
Now getting a a band together for rehearsals...I know them frustrations! Hoping that changes soon when I get moved into some rehearsal premises and office...Well excited.

Beatles gig at the festival
next week means I'm heavilly learning the lady madonna bassline and on the side Oh Darling as I have not been able to play and sing it with conviction just yet.

Back on topic....If I Fell in c sharp and And I Love Her in Fminor. Just done an hour and bit Beatle set today at a friends wedding. Lovely day for it....Ok, ramblings over.

For some reason, I've always played it in D. Why C# for you ... preference, or is that their actual recorded key?

I love John,
I love Paul,
And George and Ringo,
I love them all!

what would be your best suggestion for the chords? to use

am not really sure what all the chords are as there a lot of add ons like f#m7 or something close to it.

i just kind of picked it up from watching another youtuber playing it

ive made a video of me playing it here to help a little the first chord is  f#m with an add on on the bottom string 5 fret which is the A note

Yeah me too. I was watching youtube from A hArd Days Night movie with my friend, where we were both unable to play along with the chords we had known. Kinda freaked me a bit playing it today.

Fabulous, Fendertele! That does look fun to play! I'll have to try it. I'll report back here in 2,000 years to let you know how I'm getting on.

thanks mclennon the technique i find that helps with a lot of macca songs is instead of finger picking i hold my pick like normal and play bass noted wit it and use my ring finger for the highers notes and it means you can go from fingering to rhythm without having to pick up a pick.

i thin its called hybrid picking technique or something

That's really interesting, I may have to try that, because It's hard in certain songs, where I try to switch between both, such as for a solo, and Can't use the pick for any finger picking things, for me it would be like trying to use it on blackbird lol!
