^I must admit I got a bit excited when i sussed SBS drum part for the first time. I would like to have come up with it but it is only 16's on the high hat with a bit of left and right snare action and 4 on the floor.....You wanna move on and start doing some Gadd licks like 50 ways to lose your lover......ask Tkitna about it. ....Just teasing. lol
I'm gonna have to re-learn Wish you Were Here on guitar as I howled it up near the end of a gig last night. lol....Was the first time i had played it in 5yrs. That was on drums then. It was the C and D's catching me out. heheheh
ya, i should. that was the first one that i could get almost perfectly, ive learned most of the drum parts of other U2 songs. most of the time though i just wing it and if it sounds similar to the studio or the many live versions then i'm happy...come to think of it, i have never actually heard them play any song live the same as the studio version. makes it easy to cover their drumming...especially the bass
"if asking, begging and pleading doesn't work, always go with a song and dance number."
Forever Young.. learned it in the Baez key though.
I'm an alligator, I'm a mama-papa coming for you I'm the space invader, I'll be a rock 'n' rollin' b**** for you Keep your mouth shut, you're squawking like a pink monkey bird And I'm busting up my brains for the words
