hahaha, yea...she didnt buy it though oh well, but ill post some others up. like this one
She’s got that sparkle in the eye, And the thousand kiss goodbye, Oh I know that I love her so,
She’s the one I fell in love, She’s the pretty, white dove, Oh I can’t get my mind off her,
She’s got the loving that I want, And caring in the heart, Oh she’s still just a woman to me,
She’s a woman, to me, She ain’t a thief or bore, She doesn’t get me sore, She’s always a woman to me,
Oh I really love her so, I don’t want to let her go, To fly to an evil man’s hands,
She’s got that twinkle of surprise, When I gaze into her eyes, Oh I know she’s the one I love,
She’s just woman, Take my heart, That woman, Tear me apart, That woman, Woah oh, That woman, No, no, no, no, Oh I love her so, She’s that woman For me-e-e-e

The love songs a little cliched but I'd have to hear the melodies to have a full opinion. I like the last one quite a bit though. Maybe you should write more like that.

It's the chords underneath that can change a lyric....hard to say without heavy analysis...I am a man of little time. ...It's all in the final presentation.
my most emotional song i've got, something along the lines of "Mother" emotionally. seriously, i actually put my heart and soul into the tune and it just blows your mind once you here it...which ill put up once me and my band record it. the tone is like that of U2's "Kite"
They’re standing there, Watching all day, And hoping I’ll pray, To the man that’s not there,
And as I sit in wonder, As they watch my every move, That I guess they were wrong, Big brother ain’t watchin’ you, (build up) While my ideas clash, And dreams slip by, Still they watch me, As time goes by,
Oh another moment past, In this ungodly life, With my poison covered blood, Dripping from that red, hot knife,
(drum and guitar duet)
And I ask for forgiveness, Oh please make it so, There’s no room in their heart, To make my mind grow,
(tempo slow down)
And still I-I wonder, If this will happen, When they’re six feet under, And their hands still clappin’
(Build up of sound, cymbal clashing)
I’m no-o-ot a child! I’m not the boy they thought I was, I grew up for them, I screwed up for them,(tone down) But I’ll always wonder, Where I would be-e-e, Without them watching over me-e-e

Oh, this is another little song I wrote called Gypsy. It was orginally supposed to be about the object of my unknown affection, but it kind of turned into something else.
You've got eyes like a gypsy And a smile twice as wide Your gypsy cart is left behind But you don't seem to mind There's something you will find You don't have to act so kind But you're a gypsy So what's lost is yours to keep You don't have to dig so deep
(Chorus) Gypsy boy, Won't you stay for a while? With your long ago tales And your far away smile Your touchstone heart And your dewdrop tears Tell me many stories But they don't calm my fears
Your gypsy cart is moving I understand you must go I only hope that you can know Just what your tattered spirit shows As the campfire embers glow With your gypsy troupe in tow Just like a child We'll just have to say adieu See you next life, good luck too
(Chorus)
Gypsy laughter echoes through the night Lost in stars of shiny gold Another chapter will unfold What is lost will be untold But I can't put my life on hold For another gvypsy's promise sold It's too upsetting Beneath the darkened summer sky I'll remember you and I
(Chorus)
And if we ever meet again Under circumstances gray We can dance for one more day Admit the things we'd never say Find each other when we're stray From the forgotten Think of me when you hear this song And know that you could never be wrong
(Chorus)
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
i was thinking something like "Watch Over". its supposed to be emotional. i just needed to express everything i felt. and i put all my emotion into it... and this crapped out

This is a simple song I wrote, I have better, I don't think it's quite there, as George Harrison said: "A few words needed yet".
--------------------------------------------------- "I Can't Believe (It's Over)"
I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's true You were the one I loved, and that was true You took my heart and ripped it in two
I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's through You took my love from me, and now I'm blue You took my heart and ripped it in two
So sad again, I can't belive it The air's so bad, I just can't breathe it
You we're the first I ever found You took my hand and lifted me from the ground You let it go I fell and found you we're the one that let me down
I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's true You were the one I loved and that was true You took my heart and ripped it in two
I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's over I can't believe it's over -----------------------------------------------------
I've written about thirty all together but my Mother just throws them out when I'm not around, that really pisses me off. Hell, I guess John had the same problem with Mimi. Ha!
hahaha, that ones actually pretty good. you might want to try and put it all into like a Word document, that way there should be at least a copy saved to your computer. which you might want to back up on a disk or something (i didnt do that the first time and lost like 12 good songs i wrote down on one computer but not the other one)
