JULIAN LENNON EYES COMEBACK    

  
Late BEATLE JOHN LENNON's son JULIAN is planning a pop comeback eight years after his last studio album came out in 1998.

The 42-year-old became disillusioned when record company executives deliberately released his PHOTOGRAPH SMILE disc on the same day his half-brother SEAN LENNON released an album. He hasn't unveiled any material since.

But Julian now hopes to have a new record out by the end of the year (06).

He says, "I've been having a great time these last few months collaborating with other musicians and friends.

"If all goes according to plan, I'll be in the studio this spring, recording with my producer. (The work should be completed) either by year's end 2006 or first thing 2007."

Good news ... I've only got his Help Yourself (1991) and I liked it.
Apart from the obviously melodic songs (Saltwater, Maybe I Was Wrong ... and all those) Rebel King reminds his father's style somehow and Keep The People Working is an interesting track.

i got all his cds on my ipod... julian is my second fav. performer and i'm so excited about the cd...

at the end of the song help yourself there is like a muffled voice it is so reminiscent of john it scares me...

but i think my favorite song i think is say your wrong

His debut album Valotte is the best, the title track is a masterpiece & it would be great if Julian had a huge hit after all these years.
