Sorry Al, could not post into the sticky thread for some reason.
Here's pictures of Paul with the Fender Jazz Bass. Obviously taken by Linda (like the one in the sticky thread) during the Beatles days! (Mr Harrison is on the left...).

Looking at the background, they are indeed from the same session. That's why I remarked that the picture was not from the early Wings-dates, but from the Beatles-days.
