Paul McCartney Snubs Brits


Paul McCartney has snubbed the 2006 Brit Awards because he is to young, the 63 year old ex-Beatle had been lined up with the Outstanding Contribution Award at next months ceremony but rejected it because people would think he was at the end of his career if he accepted it.
The Sunday Mirror reports that Brit Award organizers were so convinced that he would take the award that they have even included a track McCartney called Jenny Wren on the Brits compilation album to celebrate the event.

47 year old Paul Weller will now receive the award.

He's lucky he was even nominated. He don't get much attention over here in america.

Sure he does.

I don't see it. last I heard of him was when the album came out.
