when you got a beauty like that you don't want to scare them off....so you tend to tolerate their faults as well as their virtues....you tend to over look bombastic and idiotic behavior...i think she thinks she was doing him a favor by preforming with him and chuckster.the band with them was elephants memory....john merged the plastic ono band with them because

BTW ... I forgot to say that I've got that videoclip (and the one with John playing Imagine too: he shouted "C'mon!" and smiled near the end ... I think he realized the band was asleep somehow. It's another funny moment).
