Just wondering what have been people's favourite. In my top three are The Clash, Split Enz and The Dudes (NZ band). But tops is, I'm afraid to say, Simon and Garfunkel (the reunion tour.) A beautiful evening, beautiful people and beautiful music. When they hit the opening of "Sounds of Silence" the crowd went ape sh*t. It's one of those songs, like Yesterday, that is in our collective blood (if you get my drift.) Pure magic. (I "saw" REM in '93, and everyone says they were great. Unfortunately I overdid the pre-concert prep and all I remember is some very bright lights making a very loud noise. Shame.)
ive only been to three, alice cooper (twisted sister as support band!!!), the bootleg beatles and bob dylan.. and im sorry bootlegs but alice was the best
Paul McCartney. Both times I've seen him. The Stone's were great too. And Queen really surprised me. Oh, I and the Who! i saw them when I hated them and was a convert after that. So I guess they were pretty good!
