OMG Does it actually say "In 1969, Apple Records introduced a subsidiary label, Zapple, meant to showcase more experimental recordings, as opposed to quality work."?
Zapple was created to be, what Lennon said, to be like paperback books--you read them once or twice and can throw them away, and they'd be budget priced. Klein put the kibosh on that notion by saying, 'If it's good, we'll charge'. 'Lions/Electronic' were priced at the going rate of other albums back then. John was so into 'reporting' everything him and Yoko did back then, he wanted an audio document. George was being shown the Moog by Beaver Krause, and its this Beaver Krause who does almost everything on 'Electronic Sound'. You can see where George silvered out his name at the bottom of the album to not give him credit. George must have had enough as well because you can see he wrote "Crapple With It".
