What song sung by John would you like to hear sung by Paul? And vice versa? Or by George?
I'd like to hear a version of Oh Darling sung by John. He suggested himself it was more like his style. I always felt Paul could have done a great It Won't Be Long.

Great thread -
Ringo Singing Flying .. nah, on a serious note - Bad Boy
Funnily enough, to me it has always sounded like Ringo has the dominant Lah lah lah in that track. But I'm not trying to start a "who did the laaaaaaaahs" debate!
Yeah, I have to agree - his very ringo-ish voice breaks through - a great track. I always imagine he's really into it - like the sing-alongs on the Mystery Bus.

Fixing a Hole--John I Saw Her Standing There--John (He did it with Elton John) Dear Prudence--Paul Hey Jude--Ringo (seriously) I'm Only Sleeping--George Something--Paul (he did it on Concert for George, on uke) The Ballad of John and Yoko--Paul (just to see if he could pull it off without vomiting)
I'm having a hard time thinking of any songs I'd want them to swap on. I mean, it would be interesting to hear any of them sing another members song, but none I can think of that would make it better. I guess I'd want to hear John singing Oh! Darling just to see if he was right about it being better suited for his voice. Personally, I think Paul did a pretty damn good job himself.

Help! by Paul
Paul did perform a medley of Lennon tracks, of which Help! was one, when he appeared in concert at Liverpool's Albert Docksome years back. This performance was released on the CD single of All My Trials, I believe.

Yep, ... uploaded by an us-er (Bruno) in bootlegforum ... but it was not Help! ... if you know what I mean ... I mean I'd like to listen to a proper version ... He said he helped in Help!
I think George's voice is good on Here Comes The Sun its a bit soft but its all right. It's worth just hearing him say "toodootoodoo"
Anyroad, I'd like to hear Ringo sing Lady Madonna, Goerge to sing Long Tall Sally, Paul to sing Mr Moonlight or Twist and Shout and John.... well John can do it all eh? maybe not... It would be interesting to hear John sing Everybody's trying to be my baby

George singing Long Tall Sally would have been interesting ... I think that Paul could have sung Twist And Shout when he was young but now? Almost imposible
It's fun to pretend they're switching parts at the time the song is recorded, Raxo. Just to imagine plugging in those different voices.
Kaleidoscope_Eyes, you can hear John Lennon sing "Honey Don't" instead of Ringo on the Live at the BBC collection. I think John could have sung "Everybody's trying to be my baby" at one point-- he mentioned in one of his interviews that George never used to sing. Then again, George probably originally brought the song, as he loved Carl Perkins. They probably developed George as a singer out of self-defense in Hamburg; all those long hours would have shredded their voices, so they traded off to share the load.
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison
