So is Big Bird. By the way, Bert and Ernie are still using seperate beds. I noticed that last night. And they're wearing pyjama's.

No, you belong here too, Alan! Just read the previous page and you'll understand Kevin's curiosity in the whereabouts of the Sesame Street figures.

I never admired 'Sesame Street' as a child. Always thought it was too American, even in my early years. That's no offence to any American who reads this, but I was used to the likes of 'Rainbow' & 'Mr.Ben' re-runs ... that strange surreal English vibe, that's pretty dark in hindsight.

I apologise for this random blurt.

Whats the matter lads? Blue Meanies?

I feel privileged in being the last generation that wasn't dominated by kids TV. Me and my brother would sit round the radio at 7.00am Sunday for kids hour, otherwise that was it. (maybe you got a cartoon on Disneyworld Sunday evenings, but that meant sitting through The Black and White Minstrel Show first).
Saturday morning was the best - every kid in the world went to the "flicks" to watch Flash Gordon and Lone Ranger serials. And cause a riot. Happy days.

Don't forget Jamie And The Magic Torch!!!!!! I used to love that - even the theme tune was cool!
