On November 15th, 1974 a BBC film crew (directed by John Lennon!) spent a day with him around Central Park ... and various other locations in New York too ... the reason? to make a video for "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" ... But that video was never broadcast ... and the original camera film reels from the day were found, which were aged and damaged from decay and scratching ... when restored, we discover incredibly charismatic footage of John (I think he was) ... obviously greatly enjoying himself (but not only himself) on a sunny day out ... I like this video.
oh yeah me too. Would love to have some stuff like this on DVD - I know it's on 'Legend Lennon' but I read a few reviews and they didn't sound to good...
This video features never-before-seen footage from the Lennon/Ono archive ... again rare newsreel and private footage ... created by director Joe Pytka ...
This clip features footage from the known archive, rare newsreel and private footage again ... the Executive Producer is Yoko Ono (sic) and the director Simon Hilton ... a stunning portrait that captures the multi-faceted genius of him and that special love they shared ... so it's called the song ...

What would not be good about it?? It's a bunch of Lennon videos. I love it. The extras are cool too. Expecially Lennon in red leather singing Imagine for a bunch of stodgy looking society people. Mind Games is my most watched on that DVD. I just love that song and he looks so happy running around Central Park. This was during his Yoko free year I think. Didn't he get it?
That's a great video, but what would be really great is to hear the actual interview going on. He must have been promoting Sgt. Pepper on Broadway or something. That's what it looks like. Somewhere the original audio must exist. Lucky kids in Central Park.

So you wouldt say it's worth purchasing it. Great thanks for the hint, it's not easy judging what's good material or bad. Yeah, you're right, Mind Games is my favourite since I first watched it yesterday, think I've seen it now for about 20 times - he seems so happy go lucky - I totally agree with you, it was during his lost weekend - what went wrong afterwards.
If I find an inexpensive issue of that DVD I'll probably get it.
Thank you so much Raxo - BRILLIANT downloaded them all!!!
