Saw this on another forum, thought it quite nice and that it might work for this one as well. Why not setting up a new topic at 'other forums' called 'Member Mailboxes'. So there would be the possibilty to direct ones questions/ideas or just saying 'hello' to certain members. People could comunicate more directly with each other without having to search for a suitable thread. Everyone would be able to make their own Mailbox (by starting a thread called ......mailbox)

found it a nice idea and it works really great in the other forum, people just pop in to say 'hello, how're you' - 'I feel like s..t today' - 'could you tell me how you make your avatar'....all sorts of stuff you know
So we're talking about a new forum in 'other forums' with one topic for each member ... right? ... we've got to talk with The End, then ...
not quite Raxo, I thought about a new forum in 'other forums' called Member Mailboxes and in that forum ('Member Mailboxes') everybody who wants one can establish his own mailbox by posting a new thread called for example 'Raxo's Mailbox', 'The End's Mailbox' and on and on....so you get a new thread for each member who wants to have his own mailbox
