I think the things Bill says can very well be true. I can't imagine Stu being such a bad player and he surely must have improved during the endless Hamburg nights. And what about Brian Epstein saying he had never heard of The Beatles before he went to the Cavern? The story of the boy coming to his shop to ask for My Bonnie? Bill's version is believable.
