She wasn't the only drunken whore around. How about Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, John Bonham...or can't they be whores because they're men?

The term is called Man-Whore, thank you very much.

Anyways, Janis was a very good singer, IMO. Like I've said before, I could care less what people have to say about a certain artist, because I like them.

And besides, you might not like her but I'd like to see you get on a microphone and do your best. I doubt its better than her's.

Elton is supremely talented, especially with Bernie.

Yes. His style is supremely impressive. Almost like some cross from jazz piano and classical piano. His voice really is quite impressive too. Although I don't go out of my way to hear him, just as Sandra doesn't go out of her way to here non-Beatles and sometimes Elton artists, when I hear his songs, I listen well, and sometimes I even get into it.

Maybe it's areas, but  it's could care less. As in, I could care less, because it's bothering me more than I should. DIfferent phrases.

And I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to Juniors.. I think, unless I mistyped something.

What were/are you talking about? I don't get it? That Janis had talent? We've gotten over that, she's sucks and unfortunately is dead. What else are you talking about? Go ahead and like Janis Joplin. In my eyes, she suck large, that shouldn't stop you from liking her. If you like people that are accomplished because they scream and have no talent--more power to you. There's alot of people that have made it because screaming and what not, that is taken for talent. And so it goes. I just never thought that you were one of those people. Enjoy. -D-

No. She sucked. Luckily for her, she was part of the 27 club. There are/were a thousand female artists that sang from the heart a thousand times better than that piece of Jack Daniels mess. She got her kudos from being white and people are suckers.  How exactly did she 'live them'? Good for her, Pearl was a drunken whore whose legacy lives on for f*** knows what.

hey so now it is UNFORTUNATE that she died? because it is true that earlier you said 'luckily for her she was part of the 27' club.

and also we havent 'gotten over' the fact that she sucks and is dead, its just your one opinion on the subject, and i along with others happen to like her, so don't think you saying that will change everything.

come duane tell me when you are bombed outta your gourd on whiskey..that she ain't good...in her defense tho.....she could hit notes and i don't think she had formal training either...she would play longer than most bands...big brother and the holding company were a good band too....but janis was a bit trollopy...she had to show her a** at parties and try to be the center of attention and out drink everybody at the whiskey a go go...she had moments just like most musicians...i can however neither confirm nor deny she sucked but i heard she swallowed.....

I think Courtney Love is out of her mind mentally, Nirvana is highly overrated & I can't stand them at all.

I want you, I want you so bad babe.  I want you, I want you so bad.  It's driving me mad, it's driving me mad.

Just because you don't like something. doesn't mean it's not good.
