Hello Friends! I hope you're all happy! So, my question is: Do you think Goerge changed trhough the years. Or He was the same man since he was a baby beatle. I thin he changed a lot. It seems to me that he was a new person after he married Olivia and met other interestes in his life. Even fisicaly he changed too much. What do you think?
He changed throughout his life like most people. I remeber reading somewhere that in his younger years he would follow John and Cynthia on their dates.

Well as he said he was capable of being a much happier person in '91 than he was capable of in the 60's speaks volumes.
To get a vague idea of if George changed you have to go into his beliefs and his lyrics: "In another life, I woke up dreaming with a sigh..."
I think that whatever happened to George happened just before Cloud Nine as he was on top form throughout the late 80's/early 90's.

George is a very Dark Horse indeed...
Yes, he is a very Dark Horse, no doubt. I don't get a vague idea of his changes, I am sure. I agree, it must had been after the 80's. Yes, I saw him saying that he was a better person in that decade.
Thanks friends for your replies. But I think I did not made my question clear. I mean, did George changed deeply inside as he said in most of his lyrics?
I think he has Cisco. After the Beatles and visiting India, he has changed alot. Like in his song The Light That Has Lighted the World, he mentions that he has changed since his Beatles days. He just didn't want to be thought of as a Beatle anymore... and I think that was what he was trying to say in this song too. Another song Be Here Now, he was saying that he only wanted to move forward and not go back to living in the past. There's quite a few songs where he says he has changed...Mystical One is another example of that too.
YES, BECKY, i AGREE WITH YOU! HE WAS ALWAYS SAYING IN MUSIC OR TALKING TO PEOPLE THAT HE HAD CHANGED AND THAT HE WAS SO A BETTER PERSON. IT'S ONLY THAT FOR ME, THOSE CHANGES WERE BIGGER THAN THOSE THAT OCURRES NORMALY IN OUR LIVES. THANKS BECKY
George undoubtedly changed hugely throughout his life
I think the main reason he changed so much was his spiritual discovery- when he started getting big into the hare krishna stuff, he found a new meaning in his life and therefore his whole outlook was altered. It impacted his life in every way- and his music changed too- more religiously focused I guess. He went on a journey of self-discovery and learnt a lot about himself and the world. I would say he was pretty enlightened by the end of his life
But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...
I totally think George changed, through his spirituality by the end of the beatles or possibly 1966 when he first went to India. He was discovering what life was all about. He was not concerned with money or the "material world", he always was searching for god. I always though that both John & George changed (which made them very interesting people, always on the search for something!)
HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY TO THE WHITE ALBUM! you say its your birthday!

Umm - he lived in a big f*ck off mansion, was infatuated with Formula One racing, was a director of Apple, ran a film production company and Dark Horse records, wrote Taxman and issued his book as a mind boggingly expensive special edition. Hardly Ghandi or Francis of Assissi.
