I don't think they should have gone on tour with Paul Rodgers. I don't like the idea of some fronting a band with the rest of Queen and this guy singing Freddie's songs.

So what would be another good album aside from A Night At The Opera?

I like Queen very much! Their best album for me it's 'Queen II'. Hard rock, cool guitar hooks, great vocals and melodies. Try it, maybe you'll like it as I do. It is in my 10 ten fav albums of all times. Another good albums from 70s are 'Sheer Heart Attack', 'Jazz'. Also 'The Game', 'The Works'.

See Queen at my site http://discographies.murashev.com/artist.php?artist=25 for discography and album reviews.

I saw Paul Rogers fronting Queen on VH1 the other night and I though he was more than adequate, but then again I like Bad co. He does'nt give the Broadway show tune theatrics that Mercury brought to the band, but still a good performance though. The question that still boggles the mind, is how did one gay guy convince three strait guys to name a band Queen?.......

I'm a huge Queen fan, got all albums on CD, most of them on LP, some vinyl singles, all official DVD's and over 300 bootlegs.

I would recommend Queen II and A Day At The Races after A Night At The Opera.

One of the best bands ever. Four great song writers in one four-piece band and that's unusual.

Good luck with finding the time to listen to those 300 plus Queen bootlegs!

If it had been George Michael it could have worked.

Does anyone here like them? I just got A Night At The Opera and love every single song on it, it's simply amazing. What are some other good Queen albums? Do they have any more as good as A Night At The Opera?

Queen
Queen 11
Sheer Heart Attack

I stop there.

BTW. A Night at the Opera & A Day at the Races are the only albums named after Marx Bros. movies.

Everyone here loves their early years!! My favourite album is the last one!! Innuendo is an amazing album, I love it. "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" is one my favourite songs ever, possibly the second after The Long And Winding Road.

Queen has 300 bootlegs?????????????????????????????????????????????????? Wow, didn't know that... I'll have to start searching the net....

Well, I like them. On every album there are songs that I like very much and those that I skip. Best song: probably The Miracle, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (that's me!), Life Is Real (Song for Lennon), I'm Going Slightly Mad, Seven Seas of Rhye, I Was Born To Love You, Seaside Rendezvous...

Not to mention that Bohemian Rhapsody is a masterpiece and out of any categories...

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
