Does anyone here like them? I just got A Night At The Opera and love every single song on it, it's simply amazing. What are some other good Queen albums? Do they have any more as good as A Night At The Opera? |

I think they're good. Most of the 70's stuff I like, a bit of the 80's. The 90's? Forget it. |

Maybe you knew this already, but the first several albums were all named after Marx Brothers movies. |

How would you guys rank Queens albums? I've heard a bit of the pre-Night at the Opera era and the only song I really like is Killer Queen. Would A day At The Races be a good on to get. I heard they pretty much did the exact same thing as A Night At The Opera on this one. |

I don't think they should have gone on tour with Paul Rodgers. I don't like the idea of some fronting a band with the rest of Queen and this guy singing Freddie's songs. |

I saw Paul Rogers fronting Queen on VH1 the other night and I though he was more than adequate, but then again I like Bad co. He does'nt give the Broadway show tune theatrics that Mercury brought to the band, but still a good performance though. The question that still boggles the mind, is how did one gay guy convince three strait guys to name a band Queen?....... |

I'm a huge Queen fan, got all albums on CD, most of them on LP, some vinyl singles, all official DVD's and over 300 bootlegs.
I would recommend Queen II and A Day At The Races after A Night At The Opera. |

One of the best bands ever. Four great song writers in one four-piece band and that's unusual.
Good luck with finding the time to listen to those 300 plus Queen bootlegs! |

Queen Queen 11 Sheer Heart Attack I stop there. BTW. A Night at the Opera & A Day at the Races are the only albums named after Marx Bros. movies. |

Everyone here loves their early years!! My favourite album is the last one!! Innuendo is an amazing album, I love it. "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" is one my favourite songs ever, possibly the second after The Long And Winding Road. |

Queen has 300 bootlegs?????????????????????????????????????????????????? Wow, didn't know that... I'll have to start searching the net.... Well, I like them. On every album there are songs that I like very much and those that I skip. Best song: probably The Miracle, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (that's me!), Life Is Real (Song for Lennon), I'm Going Slightly Mad, Seven Seas of Rhye, I Was Born To Love You, Seaside Rendezvous... Not to mention that Bohemian Rhapsody is a masterpiece and out of any categories... |

How sad, I love Queen. I know specially their latest works. 'Innuendo' is one of my favourite albums of all time. |

Queen are good, but I find their sound to be superficial. Great singer and talented songwriters? Yes. Yet I feel that the sum is less than its parts. |

Daltrey fronting Queen on "I Want It All" during the Freddie Mercury tribute concert is way better than Paul Rogers fronting them but maybe that's just me. |

My views on Queen are well known round these parts. But I'm a big fan of Free, and to a lesser extent Bad Company. I've never heard Paul Rogers sing with Queen - the imagination runs riot at the thought of him singing Bicycle Race, or Body Language - but I can't think that it does his reputation much good. This man has one of the great British blues voices of the last 40 years, has performed with the likes of Paul Kossoff, Mick Ralphs, and Jimmy Page, and ends up on stage with the less than admirable overblown theatrical style of Brian May! Not exactly the pinnacle of one's career. |
