Yesterday I heard that Jerry Lee Lewis will be coming to Eindhoven (the city where I work) in March... Tickets are going on sale this Thursday. I'm DEFINATELY gonna be there...

I finally found "Summer in Paradise" by the Beach Boys for a reasonable price. It's the only one of their 27 studio albums that I didn't have yet. It sold so poorly that they didn't even bother to repress it so it's been out of print ever since it came out in 1992. Which is understandable cause it's a really bad album. But hey... Now I finally have all their albums.

It doesn't bother me... I collect Beach Boys records like other people collect stamps or coins. It's not just about the music.

And well, if you have 26 of all 27 albums that your favorite band ever made... You want that 27th album as well... Even if you know it's crap.

This is mad, but entirely true!!

Friend of mine who's also a big Beatles fan just bought the Love double digipack with the DVD-A, and surround sound. He doesn't have DVD Audio or Surround Sound. He just wanted the digipack.

I don't think collecting is mad. It's fun. It's a hobby. A few weeks ago I paid 40 euros for a rare Spanish Beach Boys EP with 4 songs on it that I already had. For most people that probably doesn't make sense, but I seriously can't think of anything I'd rather spend those 40 euros on.
