Hard Rain is way underrated--"Idiot Wind" is worth the price alone.
I've also had the privilege to be in the Enactron Truck that was used for the mobile recording. Too bad it was twenty years after they were recording Bob with it.

Now that's cool!
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
It's pretty cool. All this vintage equipment in mahogany cabinets (at least I think they are). It allowed "live" performers to overdub flaws immediately after a show when they were still "in voice."
Amazing how many records were recorded with this. I just bought an album of David Bromberg and noticed that they had used the truck.
Brian Ahern (who produced Emmylou) owns it and Donivan Cowart was the main engineer. They were pioneers for their day for recording in houses (real places) instead of studios. Now everybody's doing it thanks to digital technology.
Bayside - Bayside CD Russian Futurists - Let's Get Ready To Crumble CD The King - Gravelands CD The King - Return To Splendor CD Lily Allen - Alright, Still... CD Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around CD The Bouncing Souls - The Gold Record CD Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue LP
I bought it a few months back but keep forgetting to mention it: JJ Cales To Tulsa and Back (2004). To my mind it's just as good, if not better, than the Dylan albums from the same period.
From my local charity shop - an excellent condition (maybe mint) Venus and Mars vinyl complete with posters and stickers for £3.99. And its much better than I remember - quite Bowie-esque in place. A good listen.

The new Mission Of Burma album, "The Obliterati" I didn't know they were still a band! I thought they quit 20 years ago. I was blown away when I realized they had a new album and had even recorded one in 2004. I think this made my year.
