I know it puts money in the wrong hands, but Cosmo's Factory and Green River are about  two of the most perfect rock and/or roll albums out there.

Totally totally agree. Cosmos Factory is a lost classic. Completely (and bravely) bucking the trend for concept type albums, every song is strong. Four top ten hit singles and it topped both the rock and soul (unheard of for a white rock band) charts. Magnificent.

Emotional Rescue by the Stones, I was surprised how good this was after reading the reviews.

I guess I'm not used enough to it ... Time Out Of Mind is a masterpiece tho ... I love it ... I think I'm going to enjoy Modern Times too but I've listen to it just a couple of times and the longest tracks sounded like a mess at the end ... at first listening at least ... I like Bob but I liked more Time Out Of Mind than Love And Thief ...

I hear ya. Some of the songs don't do anything for me. But the others are good.
