Everyone in my family loves ABBA so I wanted to learn a song to play for them on my guitar. But most of their songs are so production-heavy, it's hard to think of one I could play besides The Name of the Game. Does anyone have some suggestions?
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
Wouldn't it be cool though to take one of the production-heavy numbers, say Dancing Queen, strip it to its chords slow it down and kind of Joni Mitchell it. It would sound cool bluesy and would have your stamp on it.

Okay, I admit, that would be cool. You'd have to make it more emotionally resonant. ABBA always seemed very plastic to me. A hard rock thing would be cool (at least for novelty's sake), or are we talking acoustic?

Oh yes, I can sing, I sing along to my ABBA records all the time. (Heh, sorry, I love them). I can hit all the high notes in Angeleyes! Yeah... I'm special.
