The Magic Christian is my all time favorite movie with Ringo & much better than his only mainstream popular one Caveman, which I saw at the theater when it was released.  I'm surprised they didn't do a sequel after TMC, he was great with Peter Sellers & they should have done a few more together before he died in 80.  It's a great comedy that's much better than some of the comedy movies I have seen over the years.  I saw it at 4 a.m. in the moning, way back in 80 & that's the last time I have seen it on TV since sadly.  RS looked cool in it since he was finishing recording & filming what would become Let It Be at the time.  Come & Get It is one of my all time favorite Badfinger classics & it's great that it's the theme song.

I want you, I want you so bad babe.  I want you, I want you so bad.  It's driving me mad, it's driving me mad.

I tried to watch it but just couldn't get into it. I guess its because I'm a plot freak. Seriously, I'm not a big fan of those late sixties art movies, and I found it incomprehensable, pretentious  and boring. Too clever by half.
Caveman was fun, if a little light.

I absolutely love anything with Sellers in it from about 1967-73. There's a Girl in my Soup is a personal favorite.

I loved it also and still watch it on a fairly regular basis (once every few months).

I don't consider The Magic Christian to be an art movie or boring at all & it's much better than his most mainstream movie Caveman, no doubt about it.

I have only seen this film once when I was about 12 years old! I remember it being a bit weird and off-the-wall! - a lot of British films wwere in those days though!

Anyone seen Candy?

There is nothing funnier, or cuter, than Ringo's face exercises!
