an interesting thing happened (or at least it was to me) yesterday. I work at a church and sundays when i work, i set up baptisms and clean up afterward. well, i was cleaning yesterday (putting books away, moving table back to alter, getting water out of baptismal font) and theres no one in the church anyway. so i just start singing normally. well, i was had just locked the church doors and walked down the middle aisle (long way, like 400-500 feet) and i just started singing. so im singing to myself, johnny cash, u2 and some beatles. and going about my business when i stopped suddenly, i didnt realize it but i just started singing "All I Want Is You" which my girlfriend and i more or less made it our song cause it always reminds eachother of it and neither of us has consciously or unconsciously sang it or listen to it since she left 2 weeks ago. and so i was just standing there, in an empty church, singing this song that we both love listening to and singing together, and my mind felt so at ease, so peaceful. and i swear i could hear her singing next to me. then i also had the same thing with the song "the first time." and i just stood there for like 10 mins, it was a wonderfully tranquil time. it was just so surreal, ive never had a moment like that. maybe she really was singing along with me too, that'd be freakier if i get a letter saying "holy crap! i was singing those songs around that time too!!"
i'd probably continue to sing those for a good while if the priest that was on duty didnt come up to tell me that he was going out

haha true. man, what i would give for one of her great backrubs today...work sucks, being away from her and not being in realtime communication with her sucks, everything sucks

she'll be happy, i'm taking her to a Toby Keith concert for her birthday in september (my boss managed to score two extra tickets for me and her) and my boss told me today that if his buddy, who's also going with his wife, grabs 4 backstage passes, he'll give his pass to her. and all she knows is that shes going to a concert, im not telling her this part

i just got some wonderfully exciting news!!! letter came from her today, dated saturday, she had good news and bad, the bad was that her stepmom from hell took her rose that i gave her at waterfire the last night together, and cut it (thinking it was hers) and the good news was that she is 85% sure that she will be coming home saturday!!!! and that her mom wont go apeshit on her social life, she now has a job (set up to pay off a $600 phone bill) and she'll have her phone back! holy crap, this is the happiest news ive ever heard!
