*way* before. I was 9 when I became a fan,I got my first Beatles book for my 11th birthday, and I had every album by the age of 13. I was born during the middle of their recording career too.
Yeah!!! Of course!! I became interested in the Beatles since I was 10, actually I fell in love with them at that age, but I've been listening to them since I was born, my father you know!! And I'm 25 now!! Although I agree that a lot of people did it when The Anthologies were released, actually some friends of mine did!
yes...before the anthology... i was born in 1993...John Died 11 years after my born (december 80/january 93) in 2001, a few month after george's death, i began listening a hard days night (firate)...then the One...then mamgical mystery tour....then...yellow submarine songtrack (2003 the last 2)...christmas i recieved the anthology cds (pirates) and let it be naked....christmas 2004..Anthology DVDS Originals
Nope! I never would have got into them at all if my younger sister hadn't called me and said, "You'll never believe this! I've seen this Beatles special on TV, and they used to wear black leather! You've got to see it!"
So I'm quite the late-comer. I decided way back when I was 11 that I wasn't going to listen to the Beatles because my older sister liked them and I was rebelling or establishing my own identity or something. But once Anthology came out... I was hooked! Thank goodness for second chances.
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison
At the height of Beatlemania, I had to take my nine year old sister to see A Hard Day's Night three times. I liked the Beatles from the time I first heard them in the fall of 1963 but it wasn't until Rubber Soul that I became a true fan. They were maturing in their song writing and recording in 1965. i was growing up too.
