Something I can't understand is why this album is pushed aside so much. People consider it Wings weakest album. Its way better than London Town...that album sucked. Whats so bad about it? There are a lot of great songs on it. Wild life starts off with a pretty cool rocker called Mumbo. Then goes into a very catchy tune of Bip Bop(great song)Next song is is a Buddy Holly cover of Love is Strange. Its pretty cool, not one of the best on the album. Then kicks off into Wild Life. In my opinion this song and the next song are the best two on the album. Its a great song. Then it goes into Some people never know, this song is fantastic. I think its tied for the best on the album. I am your singer is a nice tune and one of my favorites. Linda and Paul have a nice duet on it. Bip bop link is obviously an album filler, still a nice song though. Tomorrow is a lost Gem of Wings. Such an excellent song, I wish Paul played it live and made it a single instead of Mary Had a little Lamb Dear Friend is kind of a weak song, the lyrics are repetitive. Mumbo Link is another album filler but still good nonetheless. The next song is a political rebellion song. Give Ireland back to the Irish, its a nice little rocker. The next song Mary Had A Little Lamb is the weakest song on the album, its a very catchy tune though. Sometimes its hard to believe the man who wrote Helter Skelter wrote MHALL and put it out as a single. Little Woman love is an underrated song and I think it should be appreciated more Then the album finishes with the very nice tune of Mama's little girl. IMHO I think Wild life is a great album and shouldn't be brushed aside like it is. Like I said, its way better than London Town(I can barely sit through that whole album). So why is it so brutally critizied by critics and fans alike? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxXG4yuxbkIThat link is a Rare performance of Wings playing Wild life. Enjoy |
